Well, I have never been somewhere as cold as Diepoldsau! Then again, it is on
the boarder of the Austrian and Swiss Alps. Looking out the kitchen window, you
can see both sets of Alps!
Day one saw a very relaxed day. In the morning, not a great deal
happened. After a late breakfast, we went down to the centre of town and had a
look around. Then, it was lunch ...

I like Zurich. We found a lot of the places my sister and I explored as well as the 'Walking Tour' sites marked out on the map. Again we enjoyed wandering without any real plan.

Quick entry to reflect a lunch stop in Liechtenstein. This tiny country is most famous for selling postage stamps, and the fact that almost every European tour operator includes a few minutes here so they can boast of another country visited. Now that I think about it, maybe that 's what we did :-)
... emotion, exhilaration, wonderment and awe, etc (as well as sheer bloody relief!) that I felt when I had done it and reached the top.
One of the positives of walking (and running!) is that a cup of coffee (glass of wine!) tastes so much better when you’ve worked so hard for it. A hot shower at the end of a long, hot sweaty day is appreciated so much – just imagine how wonderful one will feel after 6 days camping in Nepal!
