... never to go on that kind of tour, no matter how decrepit we become. We have enough independence in us to resist such a tour. It sounded ghastly. Also bought some more Loratadine hay fever tablets. We've discovered they sell 100 hay fever tabs here for $15 Aus. I pay four times that in Melbourne, so who is making all the profit? The time now is 5.10am and we are both awake, with our first cup of tea/coffee, curtains open watching the banks of the river glide by, so peaceful.

Note to Karen Hockley: his has given me the appetite for maybe doing that Boatmotel trip down The Murray we talked about last trip what do you think. ...

... vowed to never do exercise of the sort again? Remember when I said that?

Today I climbed the Dom. 530 steps. It's easy, they said. You won't even feel the last 150 steps, they said.

Well I can tell you I didn't feel the last 150 steps, purely because my legs were essentially NUMB at that point. Christ, it is a tall building. 149 metres if I remember correctly. Bloody hell it hurt. But, again, the view at the top was incredible and so worth it. ...
