After some rude awakenings (not as many as yesterday but nevertheless) we ventured to
our next destination. This part of the Smeralda coast is just peppered with mega yachts with the occassional sailing yacht being tossed around in their wake.
We settled on anchoring in Calla di Volpe where there are lots of mega yachts anchored as well as a very expensive hotel with basic rooms starting from £1000 per night.
Thursday 20 August
We could easily stayanother day but the winds are supposed to change direction andincrease, so we moved to another anchorage.
Went ashore and completed some provisioning and enjoyed a reasonable lunch.
The water doesn't look that inviting so mainly chilled for the remainder of the day.
Friday 21 August
Moved a few miles further east and found a pretty little anchorage near Porto Pollo.

Tuesday 18 August
Headed further east, in total about 3 miles, after popping into different coves just to sightsee and boy!! is this anchorage something else. ... killed us, but by the time we are organised it is close to 11am! We walk slowly down the road;it's so steep you have to lean back to walk down safely. We get to the Devils bridge and take photos on the bridge and looking down. Josie, Deb & Ann hopped into the sea islet, and Glen was told ' watch the age bracket and the spare parts, very delicate cargo!!!! They got back unscathed, Glen was very kind and is a lovely young handsome "kiwi",.... working on the boat, has a lovely nature!!!
