Just when we thought Venice was the most beautiful place we would visit in Italy, Varenna may have beaten it into second place. Neither of us can get our heads round the fact that we are actually seeing what's around us. The apartment is amazing and the views from the balcony alone are worth the trip. Claire has also befriended a blind cat so we keep having to think of excuses to go and see the lady so Claire can rub the cat.

This is a simple hotel, with simple rooms, with a simple breakfast, that will do job.
If you want a pool, a breakfast with 3 miles and a runaway to put the car...this is not what you are looking for.

After the water fight, we ate some more and then moved outside for some dancing! Not many italians dance. This surprised me. They played a lot of english songs too. This also surprised me. The Italians sang along. This surprised me very much..... Until I realised they were just singing sounds and not saying the actual english words. Hehehehehe Very amusing but understandable. I do the same when I'm singing to Italian songs.

... we were assigned our beds and we had an hours kip. Sooooo needed! We then got the subway back to the park to have dinner - I realised I hadn't eaten in around 16 hours! Weird! We found a cafe which did happy hour but with food! - my favourite kind of happy hour! It was a buffet of pasta's, rice dishes and some meatball dishes and only €7!! And that included a drink! Perfect! I ate sooo much pasta :) After a walk around Milan, it was definitely time for bed! ...

My group is really cool. We've gotten lunch and coffee a few times for meetings and they're all very nice. They are all pursuing they're masters program here at Bocconi, since I'm one of the few exchange students in the class. After ...
