... to pick up Karin's mother who is coming to stay so I booked lunch for us at the Hermitage in the Col d'Eze which was a good choice as it was a beautiful setting and great food. ... Gaetano Donizetti's (famous Italian composer) birthplace, which now houses a museum. I'm sure I must sound like a broken record by now, but this was another fantastic airbnb find! Fabio and Simona were lovely, even inviting us to meet them that night in town for a drink, and our room was lovely too, their apartment being in a building from the 13th century, even older than most of the buildings in Bergamo's old town!!

We spent some time trying to print our Ryan Air ...

... a thing, everything is gonna be alright". By this point, I have heard Dek sing this song in Indonesia, a homeless man in South Africa and now in a castle in Milan. Each with their own unique accent and each time I heard the song it was perfect. Either I am following that song around the world or it is following me either way.

The food in Italy has been amazing, spaghetti with meat sauce, nuetulla crepes, ...
