We reached Milan ok and our air b n b host greeted us at the station and escorted us to her flat!! Showered and dressed we set out on our last evening out. Been very busy last couple of days - just had time to catch up and I am a few days behind. After a Peck feast at home we rugged up for our trip to San Siro Stadium to watch Inter Milan beat Pescera in the Serie A, the Italian football league. We enjoyed the experience of our first football game but the ice hokey in Helsinki was probably more entertaining for tourists. The atmosphere in a ...

We get up fairly early as we have a 0910 train to catch. It is hard to believe but there is no rain and not a cloud in sight when we look outside. We eat our breakfast and walk two blocks to catch the tram to the train station. At the station, we use an automated machine to buy our very reasonable train tickets. We wait about 20 minutes for our train to arrive and get some nice seats. It is not crowded like when we were going to Milan and is a more modern train. ...
