We woke on Friday morning and decided it was time to move on! The weather forecast for Nice was bad for a few days so we decided to head to Italy. There were two routes, one through Nice & Monaco and the other over the Mercantor Mountains. The mountain option was the shorter & quicker of the two so we opted for that. Anyway we weren't planning on stopping anywhere there so we just kept going, catching a glimpse of Monaco down the hill from our viewpoint on the motorway. The motorway drive was fairly incredible, from bridge to tunnel to viaduct and then all over again along the way and then a stretch high on the ...

... time in downtown Nizza! We had a fabulous journey and really got to experience what it is like living in Italy. We spent quality time with family and provided our children with a natural country living experience. Mission Accomplished! Although I am looking forward to going home to the comfort and routine of everyday life in California (here we come sun), ...
