Aside from these minor hiccups we managed to play some card games and relax, do a night ski run with torched from the bar with some alcohol in the bloodstream, make snow angels and snow men, drink wine and eat cheese. We called in the NZ new year at a bar on the slopes and watched a night torchlight ski run by the ESF ski instructors complete with fireworks. A cracker of a holiday really. Worth the hiccups.
