... architecture, a very Swiss style. Everyone was so helpful and nice, I really liked the small town feel of everyone knowing everyone else. I can't imagine anyone being sad while living up there, it was just so perfect! I am already planning a way to get back up there, I fell in love with everything about the Alps. If you haven't been, I strongly recommend making it one of the top places to visit!
... found a bakery where I rewarded my success with a "pain au chocolat" and waited until I saw the others return so we could get back on the bus for the two hour ride back.
Let me just take this moment to say thanks to all the good bus drivers out there, especially in France. It just amazes me sometimes how we made it up and down those hairpin turns and parked 1 foot from another bus.

Because I have still some weeks before my departure i decided to do a quick visit to Poland just a couple of days, haven't been there before and the flight was cheap so i took my chance.
Today would actually have been my official last day at work, but since I took a day off for snowboarding, Thursday (yesterday) I said goodbye to most of my colleagues. So now here I ...

Aside from these minor hiccups we managed to play some card games and relax, do a night ski run with torched from the bar with some alcohol in the bloodstream, make snow angels and snow men, drink wine and eat cheese. We called in the NZ new year at a bar on the slopes and watched a night torchlight ski run by the ESF ski instructors complete with fireworks. A cracker of a holiday really. Worth the hiccups.
