Went to breakfast this morning in the Park Hotel where we stayed with 1000 other individuals and just about needed a grid reference to find a table to sit at..the restaurant was as big or even bigger than the Chermside Foodcourt..an amazing thing was the butter...you had to stick your plate under a machine and press a button and it plopped onto your plate.. I sat with two Malaysian ladies so conversation was limited..lol We hit the bus ...

The flight is uneventful and due to their adding a little time to the expected flight time we arrive slightly ahead of schedule to the sounds of more trumpets and self-congratulations.
Leaving the aircraft we walk what feels like miles to reach immigration where thousands of people are already queuing in a snake across the room. Things are actually moving quite quickly but it still seems to take an age as we seem to have ...
... too was pretty average but at least was big enough to fill us up. The chap who served us was enormous and we tried once again to track down rugby coverage by asking him about it. Coincidentally he knew what we were talking about having spent time in Manchester and having watched rugby at Sale. He didn't think we would be able to find any coverage in Poznan at all so we gave up our quest.

... too good and although I am happy to eat it all I certainly wont be having another one.
Continue our walk around the square passing the old town hall where apparently a couple of goats come out of the clock tower and butt their heads together at midday every day. Hope this isn't Poznan's best idea of fun and entertainment ... but I doubt it. [Quote of the day from Stu, "What time is midday over here ?"].

Arrived in Poznan-easy leg of tour-only 3 hours from Berlin. Playing amazing heritage listed venue above vegan cafe-lasagne for lunch/dinner-so fulfilling. Walked into surreal double bass and dance performance. Except I thought the dancer was an old drunkard who was annoying the musician. Nope he was part of the act. seriously amazing venue. 1930s cinema. Needed a bunch more people to soak ...
