Oh right, Rain, go away!
This entry will be a very short one. Why? Who wants to read about someone sitting at home, stuck indoors by the rain, thunder, and 50 m/h winds?! More importantly, who wants to write about that? :-)
After yet another sleepless night, I had a hard time functioning already. Add to it low air pressure, constant rain and three major thunderstorms ...
One more rainy day in the city
... turkeys.
Our resolve to walk to the train station weaned quickly and Malgosia grabbed us a cab. Smart move! We had enough time to grab a Cola Zero for the road and find a seat in the full train.
Thank goodness for Malgosia's brother, Andrzej, who picked us up in Ilowiec. The rain was pouring thick by the time we arrived and it was getting late and dark at the musky station.

A visit worth waiting for
... and was determined to finish college, find a job, and THEN settle down.
Today I was so pleased to see Agata, her 1-year old daughter Nina, and her husband Jarek. They live 15 km from Ilowiec in a town called Srem, in a delightful two-bedroom apartment. they both work and Nina's grandmother takes care of her.

Klaudia was later whisked off by a handsome young man but the reat of us enjoyed some more cheesecake which simply melted in my mouth.
I was hoping to take more pictures today, since it is one of my favorite activities also, but the rain was merciless.
Thank you again everyone for my birthday wishes! I hope to have more years to enjoy your company and come back to places where I feel happy.
