    ... nothing as good as to what I remember from 2012. Perhaps its all down to the wet rainy weather I'm riding in today or have I just got so use to seeing such glorious scenery that I don't see it being that good anymore??

    The roads were really quite flooded around here with loads of surface water and so it was pretty slow going. With so many twists and turns there was not much time to look at the scenery as all concentration was keeping the bike upright on these ...

    ... and aimlessly strolled around. It was much smaller than the old town at Dubrovnik, you could walk from one side to the other in about 5 minutes. It was very quaint with all it's little alley ways and shops. We wandered back to our room, luckily I have a fantastic sense of direction because Darcy didn't have a clue how to get back!     We headed west from Zagreb into Istria on some wonderful highways with tunnels, viaducts and cliff-hugging sections with spectacular views.     ... got Garry to steer the boat, then disappeared and left Garry a little bewildered behind the wheel. We then drove north to Rovinj and watched the sunset over the harbour with a pizza and beer.     ... eating two meals heavily flavoured with truffles last night . We enjoyed Semifreddo coffees ,a burger,fries and tiramisu all for $20.00 (pic) The exchange rate works in our favour here,where as in France and Italy food was sooo expensive.
