We travelled from Santiago along the coast stopping at a lighthouse with fabulous views of the coast. This town is mostly a holiday destination. We tried the pintos of jambon (prosuito) & tomato, the ham in Spain is fabulous. Our tour around Oviedo included a church, San Julien de los Prados, with pre Roman frescos, about 30% are were original & untouched. A bit sad really that they are not protected in some way, as there are tours daily & it is beside a highway, I ...

The funny thing was every time we get close to a cape, strong gust come with big swell and breaking waves which made us a little uncomfortable; then as soon as we pass the wind drops and sea calms a little as if it was trying to tell us something?!? The first place we stayed at ...

... and then we returned to Ovida. When we got back I packed up the rest of my clothes and watched part of the season finale of the Bachlorette which was awful but also hilarious. I finished up packing and since it was my last night and Lexi's birthday, we decided to have a picnic in the park. Kaleigh, Sophie, Leah and I went to el arbol and bought the usual then caught the bus to San Francisco park. Carrying my bags everywhere was a ***** and I felt like an idiot ...

A broken bed and a horrible goodbye

... go to the park because I was so exhausted but since Zak was leaving I felt it was our duty as his friends to do the one thing he wanted to do most in Barcelona.

Me and kaleigh shared one and were disappointed by how much we got. We got a small plate of risotto and split paella and honestly it wasn't enough. The paella was delicious but was overpriced for how much of it we actually received. Shannon decided to go home since she wasn't feeling well but we all knew it ...
