With 1000km to drive in 2 days to get to Logrono to meet the girls, we had a fair bit of driving to do. We drove out of Portugal along the coast to the North-west corner of Spain before heading along the north coast and stopping for the night in the seaside town of Gijon. ... couple were drinking this un-labelled bottled stuff that the bar person uncorks and gives you a pourer for it. They pour it from a height down into glass tumblers....... another subject to investigate.I had seen the glass bottles in Santiago Mercado at 3 for €12.00 but I was afraid I'd end up with gearbox oil or something useless.

This is a lovely little fishing village in a small amphitheatre type cove with port. Of course the hotel is at the top and best place to park is down at the marina. I did plan and we had very little to take up but i am learning what I don't need of my camera gear because some can get quite heavy to carry.
