... some photos and enjoy the view but didn't make low tide in time to head down and check out the archways along the coastline, in which it is known for.  We get back in the car and make the 2 hour drive to Santiago de Compostela. I manage to fall asleep and wake up with 20minutes to go. Aaron and John have a hard time navigating through the city as it's similar to Rhodes, where the town is surrounded by massive walls, and you cannot drive into it unless you're a resident. ... was 2pm and we had to go and get some lunch before hitting the road again. Aaron and I duck into a supermarket and grab some fresh brown bread and ham whilst John and Jenny eat right by the museum as it was closer and less walking involved. These lumbering beasts can reach 250kg and live 25 to 30 years, and have traditionally been disliked by farmers even though they are almost entirely vegetarian. From very low numbers in the mid-1990s, public support has played a big part in the bear's recent recovery in the Cordillera Cantabrica, which owes a lot to the ...

Day 22 -- Sobrayo to Gijón -- 6km

... We made a pit stop at our favorite Regma ice cream shop, the last we would encounter on the trip.

Me and Ryan actually got Burger King for lunch. It was super disappointing, We ended up spending more than we would have at an actual good restaurant with local food, and we both just kind of felt sick after. It was a moment of weakness. We had planned on going to dinner that night, but as usual we missed our window, ...
