... road - we had a campsite to find for the night. Owen missed the turn and we quickly find our way back in toll both queue - nick put out his 'divers arm' reluctantly, we then made it across the three lanes of traffic and illegally pulled a u-turn and avoided the toll by heading back into Monaco. Going to Monaco for the Grand Prix is a childhood dream come true. We had to leave, unexpectedly on the Monday morning at 5. The trip was about 14 hours long, and I slept most of the way. We then docked in Monaco and had 4 full days before the owner and his guest arrived, which was on the Friday.

Being Sunday it proved trickier than we first thought, but a few blocks away we found a nice Italian restaurant (it seemed that it was only Italian or Chinese cafes that were open, or expensive ones along the Promenade). Greg had seafood linguine, which was mostly mussels, a specialty of the area, and I had ricotta ravioli followed by a cappuccino. We enjoyed the walk home. It is lovely being only two short blocks from the Promenade - very convenient and not touristy.

... a statue at the front of the church to be looking away as if totally ignoring the fountain. Just wonderful. Now, I have decided that it is genetic. I am known as 'the Energiser Bunny' on the bus apparently. Remember, how you thought Greg might be lost in Paris, Leanne .....and Tony said that he would be fine so long as he was moving. Well....... Yep... I have to keep trying to see what is round that next corner. So.... This free time in this magnificent square ...
