All in all this was one of the most challenging and important assignment for the fledgling, but pacesetting Ernesto Tours (ET).

It went a bit like this.

    July 31st

John and Sue fly to Verona from Belfast and stay one night at 37 Stradone Porta Palio (the 'mini Jesus')

    August 1st

Ernesto and Maureena (have I mentioned those names ...

An epic love story - Verona.

... all the warm and fuzzy but this place isn't cheesy. Romantic and charming is how the Italian people are. At least if your wanting to visit Venice, do yourself a favour, stay in Verona. Gardone Riveria and Salo

A travel blog entry by rcampbellburns on Jul 26, 2014

... 8217;t start until 9 pm so we walked looking for a nice place for dinner and we found LA GRIGLIA. We ate outside under large umbrellas and it was a lovely balmy evening. Craig enjoyed his
Roast veal with parmesan cheese, rocket & pine nuts. I had a yummy Basil
Gnocci with zucchini and a nice sauce. The salad and wine were good too. We
walked out to the Arena and it was very crowded. Our seats were excellent –

    ... lighter
colours – very much like Tuscan churches. One painting by Pisinello of St
George and the Principesa was a truly remarkable fresco. Our experience was
made even better because an organ was being played wonderfully. The frescos on
the walls were from the 1500s and the Cathedral had great light with good
written descriptors. The Marble fonts reminded us of those in Sienna and we
    will be going ...
