... was fantastic and served in a rather posh restaurant. Everyone in here was dressed up extremely smart for dinner and somehow i felt rather out of place as its not really the kind of place for a hairy biker such as myself.
Dinner over and its back to my lovely little hotel room and a well earned rest. After all the travelling recently I could quite well just stay here for two nights and relax but somehow I think i will save that till Venice.
And that's about it for ...
... to a castle. The food and service were wonderful and despite being stuffed from 3 weeks of traveling and eating, we managed to force down another great meal.
We are safely home and back on our lake here in Cleveland. Travel always changes one, though, and we feel changed by this trip. We loved the beauty of Lucca and Bologna -- I think we will always feel that Lucca could be our home and Bologna ...
... We got a quick tour to see where he stays and to see some of the classrooms. The boys were very interested in seeing the yr 1 and yr 3 rooms. We then went to say goodbye to Cecila, Livio and Igor. The boys have had a lot of fun with Igor and were happy to hang out one last time, swapping email addresses at the end. Today we had lunch with Johns side of the family (the ones that live in Trentino) at their family restaurant Lanterna Verde (green lantern). John's sister Angela was there, with 6 out of her 8 kids, some of their partners and some of their kids! Some of them work at the restaurant, and some just joined us for lunch. Johns brother Julio also came. As you can imagine its hard to remember all the names! We had a great lunch, then sat outside ...

Afterwards Paul drove us around San Martino showing the boys all his favorite placing and ski slopes, which are currently covered in thick green grass.
