Friday saw our third day at Kinchant Waters Dam. Although the temperature is quite high, we have had a cool breeze blowing all week and the nights are balmy. We have been babysitting a lovely dog called Harry. You only have to mention swim, his ears prick up and we are off down to the dam for a swim. ... what I did was walk north up Pitt Street, instead of South. I finally found it, however, checked in, and took the lift up to my room.

I had dinner in the rather delightful bar below the hostel with an English girl called Nat who was in my dorm. I'd been feeling wrecked a few hours earlier, but by this time had a second wind and was able to have a pint and a BLT. However, an hour later I was knackered again and went off to bed. Friday was another interesting day, Louie Giglio, another American spoke at morning and evening sessions.

Yvette: got the bus to bondi to do a coastal walk from here to Coogee.
