    A short but likeable stay

We stayed at this Hotel room only 12 hours. We found it suited us very well for what we required of it. It had two large singles and it was very clean.
The swimming pool was used by our family and found very refreshing. The breakfast was continental and very basic. The staff were helpful when required and if visiting Nice again, would use it again.

Back in the car and we had to drive up a very steep mountain with many very sharp turns and hairpin bends but before continuing on we had to double park on the side of the road to get out and buy fresh Baguettes. Such a typically French thing to do.

Some of the villas that you would see out on the small peninsulas were incredible, could definitely live that life ha. Eventually we found a small beach where we stop off at, and randomly found an incredible restaurant literally on the waters edge (check out the pics). IT was a little pricey but hey, we are on vacation (splurging on great food is ok, ...

... stuck behind a 5 year old who thought it would be funny to kick my seat and pull my hair...sweet kid. After a couple of death stares from me he got the picture and finally fell asleep which made the rest of the ride very smooth. We arrived in Nice at 8:45 in the morning and figured it wouldn't hurt to head to our hostel to see if we could drop our backpacks so we didn't have to lug them around all day. The guy ...

... We then went to an aquarium curated by Jack Costau. The aquarium itself was quite average, but they did do a very good job of integrating some fabulous sculptural art. One piece of work that stood out was a face made out of the artists own blood! This was displayed in a refrigerated case for us to see.

... since we had just left a very rainy cold London. We caught a bus into the centre, on the way we came accross the United Nations building which was cool. Got out, got some photos etc. Headed into the centre and just walked around, sunbathed & ate some lunch before heading back to the airport for an hour long flight to the French Riviera!

So after flying a million times since ...
