      A short but likeable stay

We stayed at this Hotel room only 12 hours. We found it suited us very well for what we required of it. It had two large singles and it was very clean.
The swimming pool was used by our family and found very refreshing. The breakfast was continental and very basic. The staff were helpful when required and if visiting Nice again, would use it again.

      Hi all

Were up at 6.30am for a trip to Nice from Firenze (Florence). The weather was cloudy after a rainy night and very humid. Breakfast was scrabbled eggs and bacon along with some juices.

We left on our journey travelling through Tuscany and saw scores of kilometers of orchards, and potted trees. The trees are a major export …

... Passeig de Gracia train station, a couple block walk down hill (that is one thing I noticed about Barcelona, it is really hilly, a lot more so than any other major city I have been to that I can remember). Buy my ticket for the aeropuerto and wait about 10 minutes for the train to arrive.

After a 30 minute train ride, end up at the airport where I head to the terminal to check-in, since I hadn't done so earlier. I have ...

... beach. We left our car behind, the VW Polo, and caught the bus to Nice to find our next lodgings.
I didn't let the team down, this apartment is in the Old Town on the 4th floor. There are 66 steps that Phil managed to negotiate with one suitcase while the Manager and I carried up the other. Lucky we climbed the Eiffel Tower early in the peace as training for the ongoing staircase Olympics.
Its a great apartment once you get your breath ...

Well we've had a whirlwind two weeks or so. We leased a car from Peugeot - but we had to pick it up in Madrid - six hours a way. So when I say "we" had to pick it up... I mean "Wade" had to pick it up. So, Wade flew (cause he loves to fly on prop planes!!!) to Madrid, picked up the car and drove it back down to us. All in one day! Whew he was tired!

This was all so we could move to our next place and get ready for a weeks worth of traveling inside of travel.

      Peugeot ...

... the beach. Another good tick for nice - considerate of those
with disability.Headed back to hotel to change. Then out for
pizza! Found a cheap place, Cardillo. Pizza fries and a drink to share
each. Was so yum! Pizza was ham cheese mushroom and tomato sauce. Looked
and tasted authentic. Fries were perfect too! Crunchy outside soft
centre! Mmmmm!! After lunch we strolled around the various
shopping streets in the vicinity. There are shops down every street!!
