A town called Auxerre
... we have followed different coloured lines painted on pavement to capture the important sites, today it was brass markers. We ended up (naturally) at the town's big cathedral. My theory tested
... and this is usually the time we get to where we're going. Donzy is a typical very pretty French town. It has everything you'd expect: canal with very old water wheel, cathedral dating from the 11thC, beautiful old buildings. Very picturesque. Next stop Sancerre - very different from Donzy. Today was another nice day!
We had lunch at Philippe's mother's house ~ rabbit and potatoes, carrots and more dessert.
We are eating dessert with every lunch and dinner! Yikes!!! But SOOO good! =)
Next MC took us to where the twins ride horses once a week so Cade could ride a pony, but he didn't want to. So, we took a nice walk in the forest with the pony.

This morning Philippe walked down the street from our rental house and brought home fresh croissants and baguettes with our coffee. We are going to start our diets when we return to the states ~ there is WAY too much delicious food to pass up here!! =)
