Hotel Ibis Mariahilfer Vienna

I took a short trip to Vienna this spring, thinking to spend Easter there and get to see some of the city. There were four of us, two guys and two girls, Marius somewhat freightened by planes, great opportunity to remind him about recent episodes of "Air Disasters" and so forth. The trip to Austria. Sunday morning we got up early to load the bus and get on the road to Vienna. The trip was uneventful. Since we've been in Vienna, I haven't done much. I have had some time to recuperate. I still only have internet in the lobby of our hotel, and its slow because everyone is sitting there trying to use it. The more people, the less productive. The first week in Vienna had its good parts and its bad parts. School is as boring as ever, and we have 4 hours of it every day. Craziness. I'm starting to get a little burnt out with school. I have been sitting and listening to people talk at me for way too long now. We haven't done much for most of the week. We woke up and put our luggage on the bus, then ate breakfast. We were then off to Vienna. We loaded the bus, and I put on my music and tried to fall asleep. It took me a while to fall asleep, but I finally did, only for about a half an hour. Two and a half hours into the bus ride, we stopped at a rest stop for lunch. We woke up fairly late on Monday, and went down to breakfast. We then came back to the room, and Alina got ready for school. I didn't have much to do, so I took a nap. This morning I woke up and got ready to got to the Kunsthistorische Museum in Vienna (the fine art museum). Amber and Alina didn't want to come. We took the U-bahn to the museum and we had two tour guides. We walked through and saw lots of nice paintings. We saw some Rembrandts and other people. I was kind of upset when we went through the Italian art because I have seen so much of that in Italy, and there was a lot that we hadn't gone through. I woke up really early this morning to go to the Palace before school. I met Trudi, Jari, Ashley, and Christina to go. I ate breakfast, and then we went to the U-bahn. We ended up taking a really round-about way to get to the palace, but we finally go there. We realized that we didn't have enough time to go through the gardens, so we just bought the entrance into the palace. We saw 40 rooms of the palace which were really pretty.
