This past Thursday the group of Americans here (and some Canadians) celebrated Thanksgiving together! I was rather impressed with ourselves too. The whole sha-bang went well and we had everything we would normally eat at home and none of the food turned out to be a disaster. Eva fand das gar nicht lustig und hat jetzt noch einen Schrecken davon( Zusatz Eva: Hab mir immer gedacht, dass ich in Notfallsituationen recht "cool" bin und eine geborene Ersthelferin bin, aber in dieser Situation bin ich richtig hysterisch geworden und hab nur mehr "HELP"; "Can please anybody do something" und "is there a doctor " geschrien). Yesterday we visited and toured the former concentration camp, Mauthausen, close by to Linz. We left at 10:15am and it was about a 25 minute drive by bus.

As soon as we pulled up over the hill and the concentration camp was in view I seriously got goosebumps. It was so big and actually seeing it was really eery.
