... have done it again, we have run into some fellow travellers, a family that we met whilst in Tasmania (back in March). We were at the water park and it was Jacob whom they recognised of course, I guess he is just one of those kids who is not easy to forget.

So from here on we are planning to just inch our way up the coast to Cooktown, before heading back down again, we are trying to wind down before we get back to homeland.

... on Monday morning, we rose early and went for a walk to go and see the nearby lagoon - which was a slight disappointment in its lagoonlike qualities, but we did see a green tree snake which was gorgeous (though slightly scary at the time as we didn't know it wasn't a Death Adder or an I-can-kill-you-with-my-eyes Python haha).
