Vesterbro 2 Ålborg, Jutland, Denmark, 9813-8400
Early start this morning. We are heading west and crossing a bridge to the Island of Funen and onto the town of Odense. Has to be the longest bridge I have ever seen! They have a couple of these between their Islands (Denmark is made up of lots of Islands) and between Denmark and Sweden. Odense is the birthplace of Hans Christian Andersen so I checked out the Museum at his Birthplace. Very Interesting. He ws not only a great writer but a clever paper-cutter and artist. Apparrently he used to ...

When I visited Kattegat Centret I participated in a survey, and for that I got a free ticket for an other museum in Jutland. That ticket I used to go and see Randers Regnskov (rainforrest)
It was quite impressive how they've build an African, an Asian and a South ...
... museum with some pretty good displays.
You can see more about the museum here (don't worry - I've linked to the English page)
At the maritime center I also got to test out my new camera, that I got for my birthday in January.
The displays are good, but it is a little easy to ...
Sebastian heads up to Odin Teatret for 2 weeks at the Transit VI Women's theatre festival. He was among few men there who weren't performing.
It was a really great time, with a packed programme, from 0800 to 2300. The first week included training with Odin and international actors in the ...
... anymore we went out to the Street, which is just a street where every single building on the street is a bar and we drank. I got back at 6am and we had started at 2pm the day before. I had to admit to Trine the next day that Danes certainly knew how to drink.

Aalborg, Denmark nath_h... if only to keep my belongings dry and to sit on the wet bench with to have our first "on the road" breakfast together. Anyway, after eating and drinking our goodies, we headed to the train station and began to wander if we had really been strict about the amount of luggage we'd taken with us because our backpacks were feeling like they were laden with lead ... we decided there wasn't much more we could've left behind and we'd just have to deal with it and so we finally arrived at ...
Aalborg, Denmark kenanddonna2005... and the hotel was 15 minutes walk away from the town center. There were no amenities around the hotel. We need to find them in town. We unpacked our stuff and walked to town for a look see despite me having a slight fever. We went around the area of Jomfru Ane Gade. Aalborg isn't really a place where one would go to see Denmark. It's a unremarkable town. We had to stopped there just to rest for the night. We returned to the hotel an ...
Odense and Aalborg, Denmark ricochetOnce a week I used to meet with the youth group at Hillerød Library to do book, film, pc-game and music reviews. DR-Radio had heard of us and invited us to Aalborg to do a couple of shows. It was a lot of fun, eventhough the trip home wasn't that nice, because we were stuck in Storebælts Tunnelen, because there was a hurrican over Demark that day, yay. But we got home eventually, about 4 hours late.
