It is 2 pm and we are already checked into our lovely hotel - Palacio de Pujadas - and it is a palace! Every convenience, as well as beautiful, and I was going to take a pillow photo, but this place has 2 separate pillows!!! Every day (today was my 7th day of walking), I have stayed in albergues. They are hostels. They have had from 8 to 200 people per room, almost always in bunk beds (tonight triple-decker, last night a mattress on the floor). I finish walking at 3:00 or 4:00 & find a place to stay. You pay for the bed, leave boots at the door and go claim your bunk. Then it's either food or shower. No matter how much you train at home, it's exhausting ...
