This caught me off-guard. One of the helpful locals that had led me to this store had obviously informed this employee that I was on the quest for bread. I was almost beginning to feel guilty that I wasn't buying any.
"Ah...no. I decided not to have any today." - I stuttered not knowing exactly how to respond to this. I promised myself to never tell people that I was searching for bread ever again.
