... shortly thereafter we were joined by Wayne Lori and Mesfin. We all then got on the very busy N road and proceeded to this hotel which is right on the highway. ... obstructions there are, so I continued on and in due course met someone coming the other way who confirmed the road was passable, but advised caution.

In a slight departure from the norm, I chatted with an Australian couple at the top before heading down on a narrow descent through the trees that eventually opened up into larger road on which I probably set a speed record as it ...

DAY 8/June 21: Les, Spain to Oust

... waited at the bottom in Seix and then we rolled the final 2 km to our hotel in Oust together.

I would have ridden the planned extra loop at the end of today's route if we had started earlier, it wasn't such a hot day, and we didn't have a swimming pool waiting for us. So not long after we pulled in just after 4pm, I was down at the pool with a bunch of the others who'd arrived earlier.
The water was...let's call it refreshing. ...
