... overtaking, hazard lights on apparently mean get out of my way and beeping his horn. Needless to say neither of us relaxed and were grateful when we made it to Hua Hin. He dropped us off at the end of the road where our hotel was, so backpacks on we walked to go and find it. The streets are numbered not named, so it made things a lot easier. ... the Olympics and excellent air con.  While chilling at the bar a lady with a food cart pulled up outside and one of the ladies told Gav it was Esan food.  It was pork liver served up with herbs and chillies.  The lady ordered a plate super spicy and said it was really good so Gav got a plate too, with not quite as much spice.  We sat down at the table and ate with the family.  It was surprisingly good! Holy smokes, I'm in Thailand. Crazy. Well that's how I felt the first few days in Bangkok, jetlagged in my dingy hotel, and my ears assaulted by a guitarist murdering Wonderwall at five every morning, come rain or shine. Urgh.
