... Its possible, in retrospect, we should have seen this as an omen. We therefore walked back towards the centre – window shopping and occasionally having a drink. Our slow journey brought us to the beach, we had been told it was a pretty spot, but what we found was a high tide with big waves crashing – the beach not underwater was taken up by sun loungers or locals trying to ...

If we were to come back to Hua Hin this was a place to revisit. Then we left the place to bangkok. It took us 4.45 hrs to get us home due to the heavy traffic. However, after all it was an excellent trip for us this ...

... symptoms!) - a night market with excellent food stalls - great grilled king prawns etc.

The beach was rather a disappointment - very narrow and when high tide came in, you could not walk on the beach. The sea was very rough and had jellyfish so not good for swimming. Hua Hin is a large town, with lots of hotels along the beach - many 5* eg The Banyan Tree and The Chedi Son Spa. The majority (95%) of tourists there ...
