There were definitely some bright characters there, who would leave their table, beers and chips and return half an hour later and resume eating and drinking the same stuff. We love watching the world go by.

Initially all we see is a dozen back-tip reef sharks chasing some fish and then we spot one lemon shark cruising on the sea bed, 10m below. Lemon sharks are about 3m long and large. We try to follow it but it’s too quick. We snorkel for 45 minutes and return to the boat. That’s everybody apart from Nina and I, who has decided this is too much fun and wants to snorkel some more. ... family. They did not lead me astray: the empanadas tasted like a fried fish taco, and even came with a sauce that would, for a Chilean, be considered spicy. After consuming mass amounts of overpriced but delicious empanada we went for a walk down the coast which is when I started to realize how weird this place was.
