... expensive ones have white ballon awnings inflated over their refits. The El belaud contemporary art gallery provides a few gems; Picasso decorated ceramics including a big rude vase and a perfectly proportioned owl, made from thrown components. ... before heading up to the town of Soller for dinner. We ate at a little place recommended by Trisha, which specialises in "pintxos" - which are generally small pieces of baguette with various toppings - very nice. Maybe the highlight of dinner though was the strange device that came with my cider, which helped pour and aerate the cider before drinking it as a shot... Not sure how this would go down back in the West Country! After a few cider ...
