... it together. Had I managed it 8 minutes before I would have not been given a 'time out' by the darned machine. Most of Verbier has a weird habit of turning off washing machines between 11.10 and 12.30 and 13.00 and 20.00. No other applicance, or sauna or ski lift, just the washing machines! Grrr. Journey to Interlaken
... group, and then the 4:06 train back from Interlaken to Lucerne. Unfortunately, it was too dark to see much scenery. On the upside, though, we have massive seats on our last first class train! Lisa, Renee and I got some groceries from the “Coop” (pronounced like a coop, not co-op) and then headed back to Renees where Lisa and I made tortellini and salad for dinner. The Swiss Alps
... that hotel as soon as the sun came up and only had a little over an hour left before we got to Lauterbrunnen. When we arrived at the hotel I went inside to let them know we were leaving our car there. They asked what our plans were, so I told them of our hiking plans, and to our surprise, they offered us a hot breakfast from thier buffet. The stunning swiss alps

After Playing around on the glacier for a while we explored the rest of the activites on top of the mountainm, there wasa pretty cool (mind the pun!) ice castle with several sculptures, it was also cool to take a running slide along the ice floor. Lauren got a few good laughs as I nearly went head over heels more than once.
Shortly after we were knackered, well mostly me, so we jumped on the train and headed back down, stopping for lunch at a small vehicle free town on the way ...
First day trips
... style is super cute, hands up in the air like he is being taken hostage.
He has gone to Bern by train, hungout in the vineyards and walked the local parks. After 2 weeks he is 2.8kg, a gain of 600g, or 25% increase...not bad growth! Soon he will be in backpacks and then the adventure really starts!
