We arrived at the cable car and paid $25 to take ourselves and our bikes up. This was stunning. It took 10 minutes to get up and it was interesting as Dayna is usually a thrill seeker. This time I loved it but she sat frozen on a chair. She kept saying we are up so high so I reassured and told her to look up instead of down.

... place to ourselves. We had a great little patio overlooking the ski lifts and main slopes. The girls were able to walk right out of room to the yard and play in the snow. Not to mention we were able to sit outside enjoying wine and playing cards while they took their afternoon naps.

I arrived at my hostel Villa Sonnerhof in Interlaken late in the afternoon. The train trip through the alps was amazing, but I couldn't see the tops of the mountains because of the clouds. When we were about 50 metres high the pilot did a quick intense 180 spin and we came hurtling down to the ground landing on our asses and sliding across the grass. I was immediately relieved we had made it and my second thought was "when can I go again?" The adrenalin is addictive, a bit like getting a tattoo. You get one, you want another.
