    ... a shower, they put their clothes on before they go to bed (I can’t speak for the females, never seen what they wear in bed, only thing I have worn in bed is a towel after I have had a shower) I thought it was just Alex that did that (Mr 5 shirts, all the same colour and style)

    Breakfast is strange here in the 4 seasons, a boiled egg, 4 slices of bread (or rolls if you are lucky) slices of cucumber and tomatoes and some plastic looking cheese or ...

    ... site having been an active burial site for more than 3500 years! The Step pyramid was undergoing some much needed restoration which was great to see. We walked through Zoser's Funerary complex which used to be 1645m long panelled limestone walls and covered 15 hectares.     ... on backless stools for months isn't much fun. So there are camping chairs for everyone. Time to introduce the travellers, 2 Americans, 1 German, 3 Irish, 4 Australians, 3 New Zealanders and that leaves 8 British. That makes 21 in all, an almost even split between male and female and a range of ages. A very travel savvy team with many repeat over landers.     ... or trunks were far to much for us to handle. Countless, middle aged, sunburnt Russians as far as the eye can see with a "f#%k it! I'm on holiday" attitude. All power to them for having confidence in spades, but board shorts and sunblock never hurt anybody. We later found out that to wear the trunks means that you are a real man in their culture, so maybe they looked at me and thought I was a girl!
