... is lovely and has many trees lining the canal and restored or new looking buildings, though still plenty at weird angles as well. Back now at Centraal Station and within our hour so caught the tram back down toward home. Got off to visit the Begijnhof. (Spoiler alert*) We ate this taste strip and while we watched various fruits on the screen while the flavor changed slightly. The next stop had us hold our noses and eat the strip of paper again, when we let go of our noses we were hit by a black licorice flavor and couldn’t help our shocked yelling reactions! ... of humanity, yet the persistence and love that is put within each person when times are hard. It makes us think how many more stories like the Franks were experienced but not documented during this period of history.  What a Christmas lunch we had in Amsterdam. Kellie had New York pizza and I had fries with aioli. Haha Wandering the streets of Amsterdam was rather interesting at times. The canals and bridges are lined with stationary bikes. We still ...
