... trip down to Budapest and Croatia with some nice stopping points.. He suggested a place called Visegrad which is about an hour outside Budapest and right on a really attractive spot on the Danube. We could also use public transport from there into Budapest so headed for there. ... to show us around a little and find some food and drinks. It was very nice to see her and pick her brain about what we should accomplish in Budapest since she had been there a few times before. We had a beer at a local bar and then headed to eat a traditional meal at a nice restaurant and had great conversations. She told us a must was to attend a Hungarian bath. We had our mission for the next day! We made our way into town the second day to ...
