A half day sight seeing tour of this lovely city. The Sardinian name for the city is "Casteddu" literally meaning castle. Getting up early and catching the 'Ryan Air' flight to Cagliari went very smoothly, it took about an hour and we landed after looking down on a patchwork of colors, green patches and rocky outcrops from pre historic volcanoes and extremely dry straw like paddocks. We had to wait for a while to pick up the new car rental , a Peugeot with not much guts according to Kevin.

Upon returning to our resort we set out for the beach. The water here is absolutely beautiful. We couldn't believe how beautifully clear the water was. We got our chairs and umbrella and set out for a nice long walk on the beach.
