Well, we managed to get away at about 09:00 this morning and headed to St Peter's Square for the obligatory team photo in our Retinitus Pigmentosa charity cycling tops. Once we had done that we started the journey home.
The first bit was on a cycleway alongside the River Tiber which was nice. After that it was onto fairly busy roads which has been the theme for the day with a few notable exceptions. We managed to get separated for a few miles but bumped into each other again after ...

We arrived in time to wander the streets, visit the cathedral and then have some lunch. The cathedral dominates the square and rises up and dwarfs other buildings which surround it. It is another example of extraordinary architecture and skill of the craftsmen from that time. The cathedral was started in 1263 and has a ...

... the actual machine on Thursday. It poured down rain this morning, and the first time I open my umbrella it broke; so i was soaking wet. I bought a good umbrella, not from dollar general or walmart this time, so it should last me a good while. I am headed toward Bagnoregina, I believe it is spelt this way, which if you type Viterbo in google images it is one of the first pictures that comes up. I will take some pictures with my nice camera for the first time. ...
