Nach einer vorgezogenen Weihnachtszeit mit Stollenessen und Weihnachtsmarktbesuch im November gehts nun endlich mal wieder los. Zuerst steht der Flug nach Bali auf dem Programm. ... The security officer stopped talking. Was he asking something? Did not listen. I said, I will send him a postcard from Karachi and jumped into the cab. The driver speeded up and flew towards the airport. I hope the guy will not guard the door permanent now. Must be quite uncomfortable to sleep on the staircase. Hehe... At least, I did not tell him, when I will come back. I will enter the house through the back door ...
Our First Family Outing in Wiesbaden
... at the feet of the church. After the fall of the last Tsar, Nicholas II, in 1917, this entrance was sealed forever. The entrance for the "ordinary people" is the only one in use today.
The church has been used mainly by Russian visitors in the 19th century who would vacation in Wiesbaden and is still used by members of the community.
There were no pictures allowed inside, but I bought a booklet to put in our scrapbook.
