What a Blast
... a really charming experience.
After lunch on board the S.S. Antoinette, we sailed on a smaller ship down the Rhine to St. Goar. We saw the castles of Marksburg, Stolzenfels, Sterrenburg & Liebenstein, Rheinfels and Maus & 'Katz’. At the cliffs of Lorelei the captain played the sailor’s ballad lamenting the siren’s call to destruction on the rocky shores. This week, ...
Night visit - too cold for me!

Everyone who was brave enough had blankets wrapped around them along with beanies, gloves etc. It really was disappointing but you can do nothing ...

Me, Julia and my mom split Flammkuchen, which is like a white pizza. It was really good! Then we took another walk. Walking there was great because ...
Bacharach day 2-3
... We head back to the room and hear some loud booms, we go outside to investigate and they are shooting fireworks off down in the town below. They must have blown the town budget on the show, it goes on and on and is incredible, our first fireworks looking down from the walls of a castle. Boats are in the river for the show, who knows how they navigate at night to get back home. ...
