Our second stop in Austria was Salzburg- we had gone a funny way around by going Munich to Vienna to Salzburg but it makes it a lot easier for us to get the train to Slovenia on Friday and quite a bit cheaper to leave from Salzburg as well. My hostel at least had some decent ...

Day Twenty-four Friday, June 6, 2014 Fussen to Salzburg

An early morning breakfast to catch a 9:00 train to Munich to connect with the train to Salzburg. Today was mostly a train day – arriving in Salzburg around 2:00 p.m.

We had about 40 minutes to connect in the Munich train station – and since we have been there many times, it was familiar and comfortable for us. It really ...
