        Walking the forest, riding the countryside, Bliss!

        ... wagon trot along the road (had to stop on my bike to snap a photo) and lots of lovely houses in the Swiss style of 3 or 4 levels with tiny wooden shingles (I wonder if they apply them in big sheets or have to line them up manually one at a time) and with a barn right next door!

        I stopped on the way back by a river to have my meagre lunch of baked beans (I had a big breakfast!) and apples, did a pee under the bridge out of sight (I hope!) and headed on my way!

        I feel like I've stepped into a fairy tale bubble!

        ... berg = mountain) with the sun on our backs, then we took the cable-car up to the summit and had a bit of a walk in the freshly-chilled autumn air - this is Heidi country and I could feel it all around - the sound of the cow bells (used to keep track of the cows when they're grazing near the forest or on the hills) is such a trademark of this area - and the sight of shops that sell cowbells!! Ever so cute!!
