    ... like a ski lift) up the hill to the Germania monument, built in 1871 for the reunification of Germany then walked the 5kms down the hill. Had a drink, then went shopping & back to the boat for lunch.

    The next part of he Rhine is known for its castles, they were amazing, the cloud then started to move in so went inside for coffee & cake, like we needed more food.

    Got a haircut, really impressed & only €18.

    ... over to Wash World and did laundry. Getting bad weather news from Wacken. They are experiencing quite a bit of rain. We went from 40 degree heat and no rain to 20 degrees and lots of rain!     We arrived at 1:15 pm and made our way to the train station to embark on our train journey to Maastricht, Netherlands.We had to take a bus to Terminal 1 and then validated our Eurail Pass and got on the ICE train 518 to Duesseldorf where we changed trains to then headed to Venlo, Roermond and then Masstricht.
