The Landy has had a good service free of charge from Gratech, we are very grateful for that.
Derek is getting stickers and advertising organised, and I am concentrating on the quiz, and making sure we have all the equipment ...

Einen genauen Reiseverlauf gibt es eigentlich noch nicht, aber, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivien, Chile, Brasilien und vielleicht auch Kolumbien stehen ganz oben auf meiner Hitliste. Welche Länder ich schlussendlich bereisen werde könnt Ihr in den nächsten 365 Tagen verfolgen, wenn Ihr hier regelmäßig vorbeischaut. Am 22.08.2009 gehts los, Lima ich komme!!!

... University. I helped them assemble some Ikea like furniture for her apartment. We also rode on there hanging train system which was pretty interesting. We then drove out to there small town called Ramsbeck. It is in a very beautiful area with the traditional german houses it looked just like a postcard. We watched little britian in the evening ...

... beer and wine, beautiful architecture, kind people (except for the old hag waitress in Munich) and of course history!! Is there a job where I can travel wherever I want and get paid for it? Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed it!

After that we walked down to the River Pader and strolled along that for a bit, through a little park and a really nice area in the city. On a sunny day it would be great to sit and hang out for awhile, but today it was starting to rain some more! We went back to the apartment and had some leftover goulash. That night we went to Claudia's friend Sandra at Club ...

We got up fairly early and had breakfast, then decided to head back to Paderborn. Claudia drove out of the city and then I drove for a couple of hours. We arrived in Paderborn around 15.00 or so, and went out to do some shopping for food. We swung by the Post Office to send out some postcards, then we hit the grocery store so I could buy some chocolates and things to bring home with me. The day ...

... we realized after we paid that we would have to drink ALL of the liquid - coffee, water, apple juice - prior to going through security. Yikes! So I hustled through security to get to a bathroom. . . Our plane was . . . you guessed it . . . late! So we waited more. We did finally get to Paderborn on a cold and rainy night around 21.00. Long day, but tomorrow it is fun with family, a German barbecue and some real German beer!!

It was time to some serious hill climbing.... And my legs did realize we are into it now. The top of the hill seemed to be around the corner, every time I took one. Mental strenght helped me out here! But once up there beautiful views were my reward! Never new I could sweat this much... Of course I have to choose the tropical week to ...

So sorry for not updating properly. We spent a lovely week with Craigs grandparents and family in Germany. It was a nice time and his Grandmother, in her 80's kept us really busy eating her delious homemade food. We had breakfast at 8:00. A three course lunch at noon. 2:30 was tea and cake and 7o clock dinner. It was really wonderful and we had a nice time relaxing on the farm and walking around some of the local sights with Craigs ...
