Stamattina mi sono attardato a lungo prima di partire, leggendo mentre facevo colazione (è un piacere immenso fare colazione con calma, finalmente capisco le facce sorridenti delle pubblicità del mulino bianco) e dopo aver dato una bella pulita al camper. Ribe è assolutamente deliziosa: non c'è altro aggettivo per descriverla. ... To those who know it, it is a bit like the A11 at Elveden, with no traffic lights and very little traffic.



I stop at Ribe for a bit of lunch. It is a nice town, the outskirts has modern housing, but the centre retains some of it's quaint past.
I do of course have to have a genuine Danish and coffee while I study my maps.

The rain has been a bit of a burden which stopped us from taking any worthy photos, which was a shame as there is an amazing cathedral in town which is built around the first Christian church in all of Scandinavia! It was a mish mash of architecture from every age. But what a medley of history!
