    ... we were so happy. I was a chicken. At school Mr L at his class at each table there was a plate with chocolate on it with a fork and a knife and a hat and napkin. There was a dice and if you rolled a 6 you had to put the hat on and tuck the napkin in your shirt and cut a piece of chocolate and eat it. My friend Jessica had a Halloween party at her house and it was fun because she had 2 trampolines. Jessica was a pirate. Jessica's little brother Oscar was Superman. The swim meet ...

    ... for a walking tour of a very pretty Innsbruck (our hotel is in the center of town). While we obviously enjoyed the sights of Italy, it was great to be in the mountains again and see Bavarian (in this case Tyrolean) architecture.

    ... to get a glimpse of that gingerbread house. Very frustrating that we again didn’t see it but the scenery was beautiful. The forest on this stretch of road was more dense than we had seen the other day, just as I remembered and as you would expect the Black Forest to be, so perfect.
