... when the weather cooperates. We still have another group dinner here tomorrow, so we'll keep our fingers crosses (not that I believe in luck...good or bad.)

Our meal tonight consisted of a cream of tomato soup, roasted chicken breast with a creamy mustard sauce, roasted potatoes and crisp green beans. It was very good. Dessert arrived and was a creamy chocolate mousse. However, as everyone took their first mouthful, scrunched up faces could be seen around the tables. The ...

... is a special day. Forty years ago, Sandy and I went up to Mt. Pilatus overlooking Lake Lucerne and had a picnic lunch. It was one of our greatest day of the trip in 1974. We're going to try to duplicate that trip if we can tomorrow. It should be fun...or at least fun trying!

Take care my family and friends!

The tour is winding down and I have enjoyed so much about it. I will certainly be talking about this all for many years. I am also really looking forward to my upcoming days in Spain, relaxing on the beach and visiting with my lovely host, Anne!

Watch out Paris, the invasion will be upon you tomorrow!

... my luck. The lady was even as kind to take the top of my deodorant and leave it off so it got all over my stuff in my back pack, fun. Anyway, I was a bit screwed because I had told the girls I would be staying with a time 3 hours earlier than when I actually arrived and I had no way of contacting them. Luckily another kind stranger helped me out and let me borrow his phone for facebook and I got in contact with Silva, one of my couchsurfing hosts and arranged a new ...

... people from countries everywhere. This sculpture is carved right into a cliff and is a memorial to the Swiss mercenaries who were killed or executed defending the French king in the French revolution.
We then stopped in to the Glacier Garden Museum since it was next to the lion and free with our Swiss Pass. It had some glacier history, geology stuff, fossils, and some original Swiss furnishings. It would be a nice hands on museum for kids. We became kids for ...
