... the sun is giving off a little warmth. Our plan today was to head south west and drive through the Furka Pass, one of the swiss alps close to Italy which was called the 'Bernese Alps' With the day being clear the views have been brilliant and we could see for miles. The drive up the Alp was fairly steep with tight gnarly corners and occasional narrow stretch of road where you hoped not to meet any oncoming traffic. We also passed a plaque reading James Bond with ...

      Fasnacht is starting - Thursday - at 05:00. That's 5:00 AM.

After we got off the six person gondola, we then boarded an 80 person gondola to Stand. Again spectacular views of skiers and people far below in the snowy landscape. At Stand, we boarded the final leg of our trip, the ...

... This was a test of nerves; 3041 metres high, a 500 metre drop and 150 heart stopping steps. With each step, the bridge creaked and swung from side to side. As we shimmied across, we were treated to spectacular views of the snowy mountains around us. As if I needed one, there was a huge reward for braving the bridge. A treat was waiting on the other side, the Glacier Cave.
This freezing cold heart of the Titlis Glacier was something else. A 150 metres winding tunnel of ice, takes ...

Walking back to the hotel, we peeked into various store windows, and came upon a furniture store selling an $8,000 side table and $225 candles! Who spends that on a candle? Crazy! As we neared the hotel, we saw Courtney and Ali drinking cocktails outside. They invited us to join them, so I pulled up a chair while Chris ordered us some drinks. He returned with a scotch for himself and the most expensive Seven and Seven I've ever consumed. Apparently, the ...
