... in Glasgow, still very warm. After a walk down to the Clyde River and what we think must have been a Commonwealth Games area although how would we know as we haven't seen so much as a photo from the games given that we were on a cruise at the time. ... and had not moved from the runway. After half an hour we landed safely.
We picked up our higher car (a cool little Nissan Juke) and headed for town. We were supper hungry as we hadn't had time to get anything at the airport before takeoff. Turns out I don't remember much of Glasgow city, but it was cool to have a look around at the old buildings. We managed to find a Walkabout pub (chain of Auzzie/Kiwi/Safa pubs from London) for some burgers for lunch.
... a bit but the plane was so much smaller than normal. It was fine though. When we touched down in Barcelona it was around 8pm and we were all expecting warm air and paradise. Well, it was quite cold and windy but we were happy to be there. I also didn't have my 3G service and it cost extra to call and text so that was a downer but we luckily had wifi in the apartment.

Head to a lovely café called Offshore and hunker down for a few hours with my phone, trying to get enough data to make it a bit more useful. So when the road turned right, we missed it and continued straight... which took us way further south than we wanted to go. And by the time we figured it out, we were basically in Glasgow. We didn't make it all the way downtown, but since we were close enough already we did drive by to try and get a peek at the skyline.
