Hmmm. When's my orientation? I believe it's the twelfth. Yes, twelfth. Was yesterday the eleventh? Yes.. wait, why do I know that? I like the number eleven. ... sat on a bench at the edge of campus in the late afternoon sun, pondering how to get to our B&B which was some distance away, across the river and a big motorway, near to Pollok Park where we want to be tomorrow. Google Maps said it would take an hour and one minute to walk, and much the same by public transport. Managed to drive out of Birkenhead and Liverpool, via the Mersey Tunnel, without too many hassles. The car company swapped me an automatic 2013 VW Golf TDi (originally going to be for June) for my old Ford Focus. Great car to drive with plenty of zip. Unfortunately, not many speed limit signs on the motorways in the UK and judging by the traffic whizzing past me, I somehow got it in my head that the speed ...

... and even at 4pm we saw lots of funny sights, which will apparently get worse as the night goes on!
In fact, so many people have warned us that we've decided to stay in the hotel tonight!!
So we found a Sainsurys where 1 litre Becks for a pound so we're in for the night!

Anyway enjoy the photos, we're off to the restaurant to have 2 for 1 steaks!! that's if I can get Gary away from the Monaco Gran Prix on the tele!!
