    ... next hr or so trying to figure out how he could fix the broken part. When his aunt turned up it was time for a tea break, with apologies that there was no English tea! I was just grateful for a drink. So, the guys is now hunting down the part I need and will fit it for me tomorrow so I can go on merry little way!     Today Gitta and Paula drove us over the big Afsluitdyke! I've been wanting to see this! We stopped at the monument and took in the views. There is a monument to the man Lely who was behind the dyke being built. The dyke is 7m above average sea level and about 30km long. Quite a lot of people driving and cycling across today.
