I had calamari and papas bravas, but the calamari was thick and chewy and the papas bravas was just fried potato chunks caked in spicy ketchup and mayonnaise, I actually had to search for the potato! The city was like a ghost town from 2pm til 4pm with everyone in the bars enjoying the Spanish siesta. Video Girl regained her appetite and had Iberian pork and Battery Boy had a 12 hour roasted leg of suckling lamb. They wandered back to their room, collected their cameras and photographed the Basicila until about 1am ending a magical day and night in an amazing city.

... of services here at all, the place is almost empty. I guess it must get busy at sometime as the place is massive. I had 2 hours to kill before my bus for Pamplona left. Thank god they at least had a bar / cafe where I had some lunch and a couple of beers. ... I ended up getting a couple of dresses that you wear with legging. Friday was a tough day with the kids. They just would not listen. Even after getting in trouble for it. They tried using the "I dont understand" comment when they clearly do. Hopefully it was just an off day. Saturday (today) is the start of Pilar.
