I am going to take care for 3 wonderfull boys in the age of 6, 5 and 2 years old. I can't wait to meet this hostfamily and to start working for them.
But first I will catch the plane in Dusseldorf and fly to NYC!
In NYC I will stay for about 4 days and have some introduction and information about the whole Au Pair thing. And after those 4 days I am flying ...

Hi Friends and Family,
Wow, Aachen was all I thought it would be; so what attracted me to this place? First of all it is a tri-point as it sits right on the border of Belgium, Holland and Germany. A sort of European Cameron's Corner if you will.The other interesting fact is that it was the first German city to fall to the Allies after the D Day invasion in 1944. Interestingly, the citizens cheered the allies into the city as they felt that they had been liberated. No better example ...

I tour the sanctuary and courtyard before making my way next door to the bell tower. I can’t go in, but as I walk up to it I hear a choir practicing inside. I feel so small standing in front of this giant building that has stood for more than 1600 years.

... always be restrained from buying beautiful interesting products due to the high prices and the difference in the Euro/dollar exchange rate. We were surprise that prices seemed so much better and affordable this trip.
