... proceeded to win the playoffs on the second round. Our prizes – a Noordam coffee mug and a Noordam water bottle – these are referred to colloquially as a Dam Mug and a Dam Jug respectively.

We set off at around 6 p.m. for Tunis – although we do have tomorrow at sea as it takes longer than overnight to get there. There was a wild thunderstorm – actually the weather hasn’t been great ...

The start of Sharkita's big adventure!!

And at long last we are on our way ... can't quite believe we are actually starting this journey after all the work, planning, talking .... And we know we've been to San Telmo many times before but this time it is different!! And so good to have Simon's old friends Max & Linsey onboard - after all they were really the people responsible for him ending up in Port d'Andratx to begin with.

Dancing in Palma

... everyone who’s coming aboard. So, whoever was on duty had raised the passarelle and had now gone inside. There are other boats around so I can’t just yell out until I get someone’s attention so I was stuck. I could either find a phone and call, return to the club, or just wait. There was a bench nearby so I sat down and just waited for about 20 minutes until I heard someone. I yelled out the names of a few people that I thought may be on ...

Another idylic Hollywood set

We arrived in Cala de Calobra around 5:30. We anchored in the small bay and took a tender to shore. The little village has a small pier along one side of a steep hill and the village is crowded on the hillside raising between two much larger and steeper hills. The whole thing looks like some Hollywood set because of its idyllic setting on the small bay. There are several bars and restaurants where we got drinks and ate an early dinner.

The #2 rated best bare beach in the world.

... cute to see. She was flirting back and he was laying on all the charm. I was cute to watch and what made it even cuter was they were nude the entire time. I think they might have gone up to the dunes to get some alone time since the disappeared for awhile.

Around 3 PM walked up off the beach to a clearing where the heli was waiting for us. It didn’t take long until we arrived at Porto Cristo.

More Beaches!

... from Germany. Good music, dancing starts up. We leave at 1:30 to catch the last bus. I am relying on my roommate who is totally confident about the schedule. Well, we wait with others but find out the last bus left awhile back. We need to find a cab which is difficult since everyone is trying to get to a bar/club somewhere. We finally get one. A late night by my standards but just starting to get going. My back could not take any more.

Beachs and Sun!

... day, I have the same problem. The simple reboot does not work. After giving it a day of recovery, using the AC charger, it starts up. I really thought it was gone and it still may go at any time. I go through everything I can think of on diagnostics, reinstalling software … It behaves from now.

I arrive in Mallorca without a hotel reservation. I have been unable to locate any hostels. Some availability of high-priced hotels in an emergency. In much of Europe, there ...

... so many times that I'm sick of it. Anyways I'll start with day one: we caught the train to Sevilla from the Station in Cadiz, which was about 10minutes walking from my house. Our flight wasn't until 11:30 at night, so we decided to leave around 2:00pm and spend some time in Sevilla. We didnt do much, walked around, drank coffee, the usual things that we like to do. We saw the cathedral but it was closed for the day unfortunately. I'm not worried, I'm ...

Off to the Mediterranean...

... ll be easier to travel for longer in Asia, as opposed to the devalued Argentine peso. So we packed our backpacks (all three of them) and with Sophie to help us with the load we said goodbye to my mom. Saying goodbye to the other half of my family here in Spain was just as hard as in Buenos Aires, and we all cried just as much. I assured my mom we were going to take care of each other and after she jokingly threatened Ed to take good ...

my first holiday =)

i visit spain so often but I had my first trip there at the tender age of about 8 months! haha!

needless to say I can't remember that particular trip but the subsequent ones really hit the spot with me!

I love Majorca because it has something for everybody. Mad nightlife, beautiful beaches and scenery, lovely people and not as "high rise" as main land Spain.
