... an alle anderen interessierten Leser gerichtet, die mich einfach ein bisschen auf meinem Trip begleiten und mehr über das wunderschöne Neuseeland erfahren wollen.

DAY 1 After our 8 hour transatlantic flight from New York to Munich, a city of 1.5 million, we quickly figured out the subway system and boarded a "slow train" into the city (my GPS phone app showed we were traveling at 80 mph). ... to Brenner I knew I was fine because from their all roads lead to Innsbruck and from Innsbruck there is either a road to Salzburg or a road to Munich. I have 38 Kms to drive to the airport from the city centre and then I don't drive a car until I am back in Melbourne. ... so I'll have 5 instead of 3 hours - plenty. Part of my reason for deciding on seeing one last museum was to see paintings that weren't French - France had so many amazing painters their museums seem pretty biased towards local works. Turns out Germany didn't really have any super amazing painters to dedicate whole museums to. The vast majority here is Dutch (or at least the most amazing) with a lot of Rubens. ... attractive male Models) ;) The rest of the day was filled with waiting and more waiting. The show in whole took about an hour and a half (they had lots of German olympic sportspeople in the show, a BMX'er, stuntspeople, the Bayern Gymnastics team and more), the fashionshow was the last 5 minutes of the show.
