The beach towns are totally deserted. All the hotels and cafés are shut up and no-one is around.
There are so many big apartments that have been started and just left unfinished due to the economic crisis. The beaches are lovely, but it wasn't a swimming afternoon. We had a game of Bolle with these completely round balls we found on the beach made out of some natural ...

... Ios it seems is just Aussies and large groups of girls who just graduated high school. By 1030 the hostel bar was packed. One of the Aussie girls I was hanging out with had been here before and gave me a rundown of what happens. At 1030 they give a free shot and at midnight they close the hostel bar and the entire hostel goes to this one bar and the night proceeds from there. The first bar was solid. Stayed there a bit. Unfortunately there weren't a whole ...

... beaches. I found it but is was all in Greek and nobody was there to help me. I walked back up and decided to take a different route and pretty much got lost. I knew I was too far across to the one side and was on my way to the opposite side when I bumped into Lila! We chatted a while and confirmed that she would pick us up tomorrow at 10.30 for us to catch the ferry to Mykonos. What a small world this is. She pointed out the general way and I was soon back at our house.
