    Day two was a much earlier start – we were ready and seated at the beer halls with steins in our possession by 10am. It was brilliant!     ... from York, but looked like he was an Aussie. He was hilarious and actually talked faster than I do, so it was great! We climbed on this bright blue cruiser bikes and off we went for a guided tour around the downtown core. This bike tour was much easier on the body than Prague, as Munich is well established for cyclists, with lovely paved sidewalks and lots of room on the roads.     ... the story of Hitler was not taught in schools until the last decade or so. When our tour guide went to school in the 50's and 60's, she said German history ended at WWI. Now it is manditory not only to learn the complete history, and all students must visit the Eagles Nest.
    Then we hit the road again for Munich

    Our evening ended with a farewell dinner and an early night as we were getting up early to catch the high speed train to Berlin.
