    ... the teacher was able to balance her time with each grade.  Many of the students were working on the metric system. The last lesson we watched was an eighth grade English lesson.  This lesson was fun because we could understand what was going on much better!  Fun to hear.     Today we traveled to Biel to BBZ, Berufs Bildungs Zentrum, to study their math and science programs.  It was very interesting!! We learned some great information about physics (if you can learn anything interesting about that!).  Students here go to school until 9th grade and then either go to another preparatory school that will lead them to their chosen career field or go to the school to learn a trade.  The school we visited, BBZ, is focused on engineering and all ...

    I need to mark Basel on the map & would also like to say to anyone reading this that might be planning a trip to the area, we stayed at The Passage hotel - it was EXCELLENT ! and I would highly recommend it; awesome shower, big rooms, comfy bed, mini fridge (if you can afford that sort of thing), a fantastic gym downstairs, and just a hop, skip, and jump away from anything and everything you could possibly want. ...

    ... the easiest cruise boarding process we've ever encountered! The staff was attentive, the ship beautifully decorated and clean, and the food and wine was delicious. By the evening of the first day, the desk staff had already learned our names and room number. Our fellow passengers ranged in age from an 8 year old boy to some octogenarians, but most people were in their 50's and 60's. It was a perfect choice of options to tour the Rhine.
