    ... in like sardines and I was shorted 1 CHF 50...needless to say, I was not a fan. We did a short walk as a large group before breaking off into the Mount Rigi group and the shopping group.     ... being able to sleep. Not much to report on today. We did a few stops at rest areas along the way, a European law for all tour bus drivers...mandatory stops and designated stop times and orders as well. We did do a long stop in Beaune, France for lunch where we had our last chance to try escargots. A HUGE hit with the girls. There may be some new meal requests once they return to the states.     ... to drink , I had to stop myself from asking for more. Guests at our table were all lovely, a British couple from Somerset and an American couple from Colorado.

    We were sailing and not long after, we arrived at a big lock, I excused myself from the table so I could go on the top deck to watch the opening of the gates and to take photos. I forgot that I would get wet as the door raised above us.

    ... the turn over The Three Countries Bridge which we had been anticipating and wanting to see. However, when realising our error after we discovered we didn't know where we were, a very friendly Swiss cyclist passing by rescued us several kilometres off track and escorted us at breakneck speed back to the bridge. After crossing it, and with the combination of new and less obvious signage, we had a slow and frustrating time finding our way to our hotel.
