After a nice hotel breakfast, we travelled by bus to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port (yes, that is the name of a city - complete with a mouthful of hyphens) to experience a farmers market, a small taste of the "Camino de Santiago" trek and a nice Basque lunch from the Navarro region. ... to technological development of weaponry - gunpowder, rifles and cannons. Always 'the working out a way to kill' comes first and working out 'how to defend against it' is second. **** hey, if things were the other way around maybe we would research other stiff and we wouldn't lose kids to leaukemia or people to cancer far to early. So i spent my first night last night in an albergue. It was an experience and i found a great deal ...

... We sat with a 68 year old woman that only spoke German and two other women that only spoke French! Everyone worked so hard to communicate... Could not have been more fun! We even drew pictures on place mats to make our points clear! Our plan is to wake early so we can walk slowly! Everyone is so nice in our hostel and they cannot believe we plan to leave at 5:00am! We shall ...
